Tortuga Air Packing Lists

Tortuga Air Packing Lists

Packing light for short trips can be harder than packing light for long trips. On a shorter trip, you have less margin for error with your packing list.

Have you ever gone on a weekend trip with enough clothes for a whole weekWe all have.

Carrying the right luggage makes packing easier. For short trips, a maximum-sized carry on is too much bag. You can pack smaller and lighter if you have the right tools for the job.

The Tortuga Air is a short-trip, carry on backpack. The Air is small enough to be a carry on on budget and European airlines and large enough to carry everything you need for 3-5 days on the road.

How much can you pack in the Tortuga Air? Below is an example packing list.

Including the clothes that you're wearing, this gear will last you for a long weekend or more. The following stuff fits in the Air's main compartment, front pocket, and electronics pocket. Any other small items you have can be packed in the top or side pocket.

If needed, you can expand the Air's depth by 2" (5 cm) for 30% more packing space.
