What Fits Inside the Setout Laptop Backpack

There's enough room to pack a change of clothes, in-flight essentials, and all your electronics.

We’ve compiled a few sample packing lists based on common travel scenarios to give you an idea of how to pack the Setout Laptop Backpack.

Air Travel, Long-Haul Flight

A long-haul flight isn't about enjoyment. It's about endurance, and packing correctly can make a many-hour flight less excruciating.

Pack the following in the electronics compartment, flush against your back:

  • Laptop (up to 15”)
  • Tablet (up to 9.7”)
  • Charging cables, including your phone charger, in the mesh pocket

In the front organizer compartment, pack:

  • Ereader
  • Headphones
  • Pen for customs forms
  • Keys
  • Wallet
  • Phone
  • Passport
  • A small snack like a protein bar

In the main compartment, pack:

  • Jacket
  • Neck pillow
  • Travel blanket (pro tip: a blanket scarf is a great option because it does double duty)
  • Eye mask and ear plugs in one of the mesh pockets
  • Larger airplane snacks
  • Toiletries you'll need in-flight, like deodorant and a toothbrush

Air Travel, Short Flight

A short flight might be less of an endeavor to endure, but smart packing can still enhance the overall experience.

Pack the following in the electronics compartment, flush against your back:

  • Laptop (up to 15”)
  • Tablet (up to 9.7”)
  • Charging cables in the mesh pocket

In the front organizer compartment, pack:
