Just returned from 2 week tour of Norway and Iceland, 5 different hotels, 4 flights. Outbreaker, with packing cubes for internal organization, made it so easy to effortlessly stay on the move. We flew Icelandair, and our 45L bags (not overpacked) fit the overhead bins well. This was our first carryon only trip of this length, and I loved the ease of check in and airport departure it gave us. With the hip belts to carry most of the weight, we did not suffer any back or shoulder strain.

Used it to travel for 5 days to Machu Picchu- it fits a lot!! Makes it great to grab and go. Highly recommend.

The shoulder straps and weight distribution are excellent, it feels lighter than it is. Even factoring in that the pack weighs 5lbs empty.

Build quality is also great.

Some of the organization could be a little better, but maybe it just doesn't fit well with my style of packing and travel.

This is a very well thought backpack I have used a similar one but the rib belt of this really helps in the carrying the weight! Also the fact I can adjust the straps for my height and everything.

Things could be improved: the water pocket on the side in very tough to put if the backpack is full and closed. The pocket on the ribs does not fit a iphone easily. I think iphone might be a very common device in usa. The ipad pocket fits the 12,9 ipad but the ribbon to lock it doesn’t, could be a elastic ribbon would easily solve this.

Most comfortable backpack option I’ve worn. Fit everything I needed for a week long getaway. Compartments made a single bag to carryon easy versus a carry on and additional bag to be organized. I love the easy access pockets on the waistband although my iPhone was too large to fit. Probably my only complaint with the bag. Awesome fold flat option for laptop in TSA. Overall very impressed. It remains to be seen if it will wear well over time but the construction and fabrication looks promising.
