There are times when, as a light packer, I don’t want to carry around a big purse or backpack. I don’t usually need that much stuff with me. I appreciate the compact size of this sling, while it still has plenty of space for everything I need, even a water bottle can fit inside. It's comfortable to wear as a sling but if I want it to be more secure, I can just change it to a waist belt. Super simple.

I’ve gotten so many compliments already when I wear this. It never leaves me and even when I have my laptop or travel backpack, I somehow cannot leave the house without this. It’s super versatile so I can easily switch it from an over the shoulder sling to a waist fanny pack. I have a small waist and it fits very well for me. I love the versatility of this because when it comes to outfits, I can wear it with different things. Not to mention that the bag has a ton of space, you can fit so much in here, and it has different compartments to help organize things.

A sling is my favorite way to carry my things, as I dislike having stuff in my pockets. This is the third sling I've owned, and it's the first one that functions effectively both as a sling and a hip/fanny pack. Unlike my other slings, which are primarily designed for wearing in a sling style, this one works exceptionally well as a hip pack. I've been primarily wearing it this way, and I absolutely love it. The front pocket has a wide opening, making it easy to access all parts of the bag. It comfortably accommodates my wallet, phone, earbuds, battery pack, charger, passport, and even a packable tote bag. Overall, it's a fantastic little bag.

It's spacious and is well made.

Super solid material feels heavy duty and light.

Overall the sling is nice. I give it a 3 because I am not a fan of the hard backing nor the fact there isn't a pocket on the back side.

The sling material is very nice, inside and out. Good carrying capacity for its size. However, the strap has two issues that are bothersome: the magnetic buckle comes loose when you’re least expecting, and the extra strap length comes loose often and needs to be secured time and time again. The strap is the main reason I’m going to look elsewhere for a better sling.

Perfect for travel. The size is good to fit essentials, not too bulky. Good quality materials.

This sling is beautiful and excellent quality. I even purchased a few more to give as gifts. However there is an annoying issue with the buckle. It becomes undone easily. I use it as a daily sling and I am always left with a hanging sling when I get in my car or sit somewhere or get up from a chair. It easily unbuckles and this is a problem that I hope Tortuga will address. I don’t use it as a travel sling because I am afraid of this unsafe magnetic feature. The buckle would be ideal if it were traditional clip on secure.

I recently started to use this sling and am really liking it so far. I normally sling it over my body and carry it on the front of my torso while driving or walking around, then on my back if being active and need it out of my way. I'm a big guy, 270 lbs, and with the belt fully extended, it fits me well. The sling belt does tend to gravitate to your neck which is a bit annoying as some have said. I just got a shoulder strap with padding from a cloth briefcase I no longer use and slid my belt through that. Fixed that issue just fine! Now, this is a smaller size sling bag, but that is what I was wanting. You'll have a hard time fitting a water bottle in here (unless it's one of those little 6-oz. bottles), but I can fit my phone, wallet, keys, lip balm and sunglasses easily, which is exactly what I want it for. It is a bit pricey, although I had a discount code with made it more appealing to purchase. Overall, I love it!

Its a nice bag I guess. But very small and way over priced, especially for the size. Did not have free returns either. Would have to pay shipping and restocking fee to return. Decided to just keep it and give it to the wife.

I like that it is water resistent and has a magnetic buckle.

But i find it too bulky with the padding in the back and the band cuts into my neck when the bag is full and worn as a cross body sling.

This travel sling is very small. I used it for while I was on the plane for my recent flight from Chicago to Honolulu. It didn't have the capacity I needed.

I've been wearing the travel sling for a couple weeks now. It works nicely, is the perfect size for me -- but -- I just can't justify its price

This travel sling is perfect. It fits essentials that I needed: passport, wallet, power banks + charging cable, and snacks. The strap is easy to adjust; was skeptical about the magnetic clasp but the magnet is legit and held strong.

I’m continuously surprised at how much I can put in this sling. Haven’t found my comfort spot on how to best carry this cross body. The sling is a little rough on the neck which is where it seems to go to instead of staying on the shoulder. Considering the purchase of a soft sleeve to put over sling.

I'm giving it 5 stars because I love it for the quality of design, the organization aspects, and the versatility of being able to wear it on my waist, crossbody, or as a shoulder bag. I was amazed at being able to fit in all the contents of my larger crossbody bag, except for a water bottle or umbrella, so I've been wearing it daily. Now for my one criticism: The strap slips and does not remain in the chosen position. After I've adjusted the strap to the perfect length around my waist, it begins to sag after a while. Wish there were a way to lock it into place.

This is a useful sling bag made of very good quality materials that you can feel. It's comfortable, strong and has impressive zippers.

I love the light colored interior with pockets and pouches. The front is roomy enough for a bottle of water.

Suggestions: move the extra strap fabric to the inside of the strap. It chaffed a bit on my arm. I know Tortuga is all about black, but my husband and I both have one of these & there's no way to distinguish between the two; a gray or navy sling would solve that problem.

Love this. Has a lot of room and organization details.

I love this sling and use it everyday. But I also think the back section could have an extra zip pocket or mesh type pocket like the front section does. It would help keep things more organized. Still love it though!

I love my sling bag! The supportive back keeps it from falling limp and the organized inside helps me to easily find my things.

Comfortable and organized

Loved it! Incredibly versatile as it can be used around the waist or across the shoulder. Useful for any activity as it's waterproof and durable. I felt comfortable traveling with my valuables as the pocket closest to the body acts as a secret pocket where my wallet and passport can be stored. Definitely will be bringing it with me wherever I go!
